New CA Microloan Program is Open for Business
IBank has announced a new microloan program is open for business in low-wealth communities. The Jump Start Loan Program (Jump Start) helps small businesses in low-wealth communities start, grow and thrive. Jump Start will serve traditionally disadvantaged groups.

California is asking the federal government to pay 75 percent of the hundreds of millions of dollars in repairs to the badly damaged spillways at the nation's tallest dam. Cadiz Announces $255M for Desert Water Project Construction
Cadiz has signed agreements with six California water agencies to pump up to 50,000 acre-feet of water a year out of its aquifer and send it via pipeline to the Colorado River Aqueduct and then onto 400,000 customers of those water agencies. The plan received environmental approvals four years ago.

CA Sells $1.2B Bonds to Finance Bullet Train
The California treasurer has sold $1.2 billion in bonds to help finance construction of high-speed rail in the Central Valley, a significant development after years of delays in tapping the bonds that taxpayers approved in 2008.

IBank Considers $2.87M Loan for Monterey County Housing Authority
The California Infrastructure and Economic Development Bank (IBank) Board will decide whether to provide a $2.87 million financing to the Housing Authority of the County of Monterey (HACM) through IBank's CLEEN Center.
