USC Seeks Developer for Massive Student Housing P3
As reported by NCPPP, the University of South Carolina is seeking a developer to lease property from USC and design, build, finance, operate and maintain new student housing ranging from three to six stories across an 18-22 acre site on the campus.
$6.7M Grant Awarded to Clemson University for Energy Research
According to SCE&G, the Department of Energy is funding a three year, $6.7M project at Clemson University with TECO-Westinghouse Motor Company and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, aimed at reducing energy worldwide by developing more efficient industrial motors.

The Palmetto Business Daily reports Governor Nikki Haley signed into law amendments that will assist economic developers refurbish South Carolina's abandoned or historic buildings.
