KC Agency Recommends Abatement for $33M Brookfield Renovation
An economic development agency has recommended a 23-year property tax abatement to support a $33.3 million plan to transform the historic Brookfield Building. According to Kansas City Business Journal, developers are hoping to win approval of $1.2 million in brownfield tax credits and $10.9 million in state and federal historic tax credits as well.

Rural Development Program to Assist Economic Development
According to Farmington Press, Missouri Rural Development State Director, Janie Dunning, announced the designation of two Stronger Economies Together (SET) regions. The purpose of the SET program is to strengthen the capacity of rural communities to work together in developing and implementing an economic development plan to build on current and emerging strengths of a region.

Stern Brothers & Co. Leads Team on Dallas Love Field Financing
Stern Brothers & Co. announced the successful financing of Dallas Love Field's Airport Parking Garage through a $109 million tax-exempt bond.

Overland Park Advances Incentives for the Vue
The Overland Park City Council voted to create a tax increment financing redevelopment district for a $39 million mixed use project in the downtown area.

MO Board OKs Tax Credits for New Rams Stadium
A Missouri board approved $15 million in tax credits for a new riverfront football stadium in downtown St. Louis, the first piece of an effort by state leaders aimed at either preventing the Rams from moving west or luring another team to the city in its place, according to Fox Sports.
