EPA Provides $44M for Southwest Drinking, Wastewater Systems
According to EP Newswire, the EPA has recently awarded funding to Arizona for drinking and wastewater infrastructure improvements, as well as water pollution reduction throughout the state.
AZ Department of Transportation Awarded for Infrastructure Projects
TI News Daily reports that the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) has been honored with an award for its management of infrastructure projects throughout the year as well as its relationships with the state's construction industry.
EPA Announces $25M in AZ Funding to Improve Water Quality, Infrastructure
The EPA announced $25 million in funding, which will be directed to the Water Infrastructure Finance Authority (WIFA) for investment in statewide improvements, with an emphasis on small and disadvantaged communities, for local drinking water and wastewater infrastructure.
Moody's Assigns Aa1 Rating to City of Peoria GO Bonds
Moody's Investors Service has assigned Aa1 ratings to the City of Peoria, Arizona's General Obligation Bonds. At this time, Moody's affirms the Aa1 rating on the city's UTGO bonds outstanding in the amount of $143.5 million, post-refunding.
Non-Profits Pledge $30M to Spur TOD in Low Income Communities
The Raza Development Fund and Local Initiatives Support Corporation announced $30 million in funding to attract new housing businesses to low-income communities along key transit corridors.
