OR Launches Initiative to Spur Rural Entrepreneurship Oregon announced the launch of its new Rural Entrepreneurship Development Initiative (REDI), a public-private partnership to increase entrepreneurship in rural areas of the state. EPA Grants $400K to Help Clean East Portland Brownfields The East Bayside neighborhood will continue redevelop with help from the Greater Portland Council of Government. GPCOG was selected for a $200,000 U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Brownfields Area-Wide Planning grant. Hilton to Debut EB5-Backed Canopy by Hilton Brand in Portland Hilton Worldwide and the Buccini/Pollin Group have announced plans to build a Canopy by Hilton hotel in Portland. Phillips Realty Capital arranged a $27.7 million construction loan, while EB5 Capital provided $15.5 million in preferred equity raised from 31 foreign investors.
